The city district of Prague 6 – Dejvice offers housing of a grand style with prestigious addresses, an exclusive residential quarter away from the busy capital. It is half way between the airport and the city centre, immediately adjacent to the nature reserve of Divoká and Tichá Šárka, within walking distance from Stromovka, the biggest natural park in Prague. The close proximity of the international school in Prague 6 – Nebušice has made this district one of the most sought after.

Dejvice continues to top the most popular quarter list with the renowned Hanspaulka. This unique location of ostentatious villas evokes an atmosphere of tranquillity and the elegance of the 1930s. The modern architecture inspired by the Czech modern style of the 1930s and the Dutch De Stijl movement is represented by a complex of modern buildings on the south-western slope of Hanspaulka. These family villas were designed by the elite of Czech architecture.

Another popular and exclusive residential quarter is Ořechovka with its original family house development dating back to the inter-war period. Detached houses, terrace houses or semi-detached houses were designed according to the English or German garden city model of famous architects of the time. This area has very good access to shops, sports and entertainment centres as well as to public transport.

The portfolio of all prestigious real estate offices includes the unique residential complex of Malá Šárka situated close to the biggest natural park in Prague – Tichá Šárka. This exclusive community on the north-western outskirts of Prague, with the construction of 145 houses and their own security service, is the temporary home for the families of diplomats and managers of foreign companies who have decided to live in the neighbourhood of the accredited international school (ISP).  It is only a walk of a few minutes from the street of this pleasant residential quarter that is the home of children of school age from all corners of the world to the school gates.

The popular leisure area of Ladronka, which is currently a sought-after location of active leisure, provides a link to nature in another well-liked residential quarter of Břevnov not far from Prague Castle. Among other amenities, it includes a modified skating track, tennis courts, lots of seating and a restaurant with a gazebo. In view of the street lights it is possible to go skating even in the late evening hours, which is pleasantly refreshing especially in the hot summer months.

Another exclusive Prague villa quarter is Bubeneč with its typical architecture of magnificent classical villas and diplomatic residences, many of which are seats of embassies.  This area is considered a residential quarter of the highest quality. Its decided merits such as perfect privacy, schools, public transport and proximity to the airport attract the attention of diplomats and professionals.

Roztoky u Prahy lies on the northern outskirts of Prague on the river Vltava and borders with Prague 6. The small town has become an important centre where prominent figures of Czech and European politics and culture appeared as guests (e.g. Julius Zeyer, František Bílek, A. Rodin etc.) The vicinity of Roztoky is a sought-after recreational and tourist area. This territory’s prestige of an exclusive location for the rich has been restored. The municipality has all the amenities – schools, nurseries, shops, services, restaurants, sports facilities and hotels. Good access to transport – it is 15 minutes away by bus from the Dejvická metro station, 15 minutes from the centre by train and Ruzyně international airport is 11 km away.

Lysolaje and Suchdol are villa quarters situated on the outskirts of the Lysolaje valley that is rich in greenery. Their advantage is good access to the international schools in Sedlec and Nebušice.

Statenice has been enriched by the Statenický mlýn (Statenice Mill) project of the prominent company Ballymore Properties, which represents the new concept of so-called “satellite towns”. Terrace houses and apartments have been built here around a small square with a park, small lake, restaurant and children’s playground.

Prague 6 is highly diverse and will satisfy even the most demanding residents. This is an excellent location for all who like to live near the city centre but also appreciate a peaceful environment amidst greenery.
